About

About Wind of Bliss

Wind of Bliss is an independent music project centred on the expressive voice of wind instruments.

The project brings the character of traditional wind instruments into contemporary production, exploring melody, atmosphere and the emotional space between notes. Rather than treating any instrument as a fixed genre marker, Wind of Bliss uses each one as a starting point for a developing musical language.

Why wind instruments

A wind instrument turns the player's breath directly into sound. Its tone sits close to the human voice and can hold a single note with remarkable stillness. Wind of Bliss is built around that voice, and the production is shaped to give it room.

Tradition, produced now

The focus is to explore each instrument deeply and build a recognisable sound through composition, texture and production: pads, space and contemporary sound design, always in service of the melody.

Where it is going

The journey began with the duduk and will move through flutes and other wind instruments, with the same commitment to expressive, carefully crafted music. Wind of Bliss is a work in progress: a sound and identity shaped release by release.
